All elected leaders of Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery are members of the PC(USA).
Program meetings, open to all women, are held regularly. Election of leaders and approval of the annual PW budget, which includes funds for travel and other costs with the presbytery, is presented and voted upon at a gathering of Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery.
The PW Mission Statement: The mission of the coordinating team shall be to support and nurture the women of the congregations as well as those who come together in the presbytery. We will provide opportunities for service and mission on local, regional and global levels through prayer, worship, Bible study, leadership training and fellowship. With God’s help, we shall strive to promote justice and peace in a spirit of love and respect for all humankind. (adopted by the PW Coordinating Team of the Presbytery of Great Rivers, July 2006)
